What have i been doing you ask??

Well this is it,im crocheting in thread,making asummer sweater.I am so proud of myself,frist time ever using thread and it looks good.Im working with a 2.55MM hook and a size 3 thread.I have both sleeves and 18 squares done,onlt 30 left to go.After this i am going to make something very special,more on that later.

In other news

Only 4 days till my middle son waide gets married and the stress level here is crazy thanks to the future witch Mother in law tring to run everything,luckly my future daughter in law knows how to stand her ground.Will be glad when its over.Will post photos after its over.I must say the dress is stunning.

Columns done

Got the columns done on my Cathedral Afghan last night,rows 18 threw 21 are a big pain in the you know what,lots of stoping and starting and cutting,i am so glad that part is over(have fun sissie),next is the large heptagons. It is now 38 inches around and will be over 7 feet when done.


New Kitty box!!

The new kitty litter box came yeasterday and it is huge,hubby say it looks like a VW Bug,it works super good and she can fit with no problem.Adding a photo with tater so you can see how big it really is.

Cathedral window

Here is the updated photos of the afghan i am working on,i think its turning out really good,what do you think??On the white row it called for bobbles but i just did not like the way it was looking so i just did a row of Double Crochet and i like the look of that alot better and so did my Dear Hubby.Please click to enlarge.





Crazy Cat!!
This is our crazy cat Cinnamon,she is so fat and lazy.I swear i dont think she is ever going to stop growing,she is so big she out grew her litter box and we had to buy a jumbo one that should be here today sometime.In the last 4 months she has gone from 6 pounds to almost 15 and is still going strong.Please keep in mind that this chair she is laying in is a big mans recliner.

Wonder Why??

Have you ever stopped to wonder why kids do the things they do??Take my oldest son,he is married with 2 kids,they are separated and now hes living with another girl and she is living with another guy,his friend,,but his wife that hes not living with is pregnant again and says its his but hes not sure,ohhhh but that's not the end of the story..no way not my son,he has to do it big..no huge..so the girl he is living with has just found out she is pregnant too...that's right you heard it here first....I think I should run a loony bin that my dear hubby and I can move into.I think when he was going through puberty he didn't eat enough greens and it fried his brain...so whats the moral of this story??....Make sure you feed your kids lots of greens because even if it doesn't work atleast you will have the pleasure of watching them try to keep it down because when they get older your going to need those memories to think back on and laugh about.

So Excited!!!

I finelly got the pattern for the Cathedral Rose Afghan,special thanks to a new friend.My dear hubby is picking up the yarn for me this afternoon,i just cannot wait to start this project.It will be a tough one but im up for the challage.This is what it will look like when done,im using different coloers thow,will get to that later on,lol.I am really excited about this one becouse my sister is making one to and we are doing it together.

Well im up to row 61 on my Bobbles ansd Lace crochet afghan,im slowly getting it done,its alot of counting and you have to watch every stitch you make but its turning out lovely,will upload photos later this week.
