Ok i found out that my blog was doing wierd things on some vistors computers so i am trying to change things around...please let me know if you are having trouble viewing it or id its doing wierd things..thanks for the heads up Kim.

Hi Everyone!!

About a week ago we had a heavy rain storm go though and it was really windy..this is what happened

As you can see it was a mess..they are blury becouse the wind and rain was still coming down..i told my DH he was lucky that tree landed mostly on his truck and not my car becouse i want the new convertable BMW lol..yea right.Enyway..believe in or not there was only one small scratch on the top of his truck..we got lucky.

My Dear daughter is down to 1 1/2 months to go and is getting huge...
Can you see my little Gracie in there??I am so excited that i can hardly wait..allmost done with her blanket and booties,so should have it up in a week or so.

New Baby!!
My youngest sons birthday is on the 26 and when we asked him what he wanted he said a kitten..he will be 11 so thought he was old enough..they went and got one today..it is way younger then what they said and im having to bottle feed it but she is doing good.


As you can see..the poor thing has a eye infection and is very thin...cant even eat out of a dish yet..poor thing..got some meds for her so hope she gets better soon..what is it with people not taking care of there pets..makes me so mad when i see this kind of thing..they had one more smaller one and my oldest son is going to get him tommorw..i just cant stand it staying with them.So with the kitten formula and eye meds i hope to have them up and better in know time at all.

Sorry!!!

Sorry its been awhile..my alergies have been so bad i cant even really see the screen..my eyes water nonstop and my head hurts..throat is scratchy,ive never had them this bad before.I sure hope it ends before long.

On a good note..as most of you know im a homeaphobic and dont leave the house very often..well i went to town yesterday and didnt have one attack..yay for me..that was the frist time i have left the house in over 3 months..this is a big deal for me.

Been working allmost nonstop on Kathys shawl and i am allmost there,when i need a break i work on the baby blankets for my new grandbabies that are due in about 2 months.

Just Look!!

Just look at this mess!! Spent the day cleaning out from under the fish tanks and cabnets...and it still looks like a big mess..I NEED A MAID!!I hate cleaning so i dont know what made me think i should do this.Im pretty sure i need my head xrayed..im sure it was my OLDER sisters fault in some way becouse they are usually to blame for eveything i do wrong...yes im talking about you Kim and Sissie...IM TELLING MOM!!!

Special Dinner
Got this recipe watch Emeril,this is the best pock chops i ever ate..plan on making this one alot..yum..yum...yum..im not kidding..its really good.

Smothered Pork Chops:

8 thinly cut (about 1/2-inch thick) pork chops (about 3 pounds total)
2 teaspoons Essence, recipe follows
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 cups thinly sliced onions
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
4 bay leaves
3 1/2 cups chicken stock
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
1 pound smoked sausage or andouille, cut crosswise into 1-inch slices
1 pound russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
Steamed white rice or rice pilaf, for servingSeason both sides of the chops with the Essence.

Heat the olive oil in a large, heavy pot or Dutch oven over high heat. Add the pork chops, 3 or 4 at a time, and lightly brown, about 2 minutes per side. Remove the pork chops and transfer to a platter. Set aside.

Reduce the heat to medium. Add the flour and stir constantly until the roux is the color of peanut butter, about 4 minutes. Add the onions, salt, and black pepper. Cook, stirring, until the onions are slightly soft, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, bay leaves, chicken stock, and water and bring to a boil. Return the pork chops to the pot. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes. Add the smoked sausage and the potatoes. Bring to a boil; reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes. Remove the bay leaves.

Remove from the heat. Serve with either steamed white rice or rice pilaf.

Recipe from "New New Orleans Cooking", by Emeril Lagasse and Jessie Tirsch, published by William and Morrow, 1993.

2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme

Combine all ingredients thoroughly.

Didnt get much crocheting done in the last day or two becouse its been so nice out.

Harry Potter and the goblet of fire:

This was a great movie..even better then the frist 3 in my opion..great effects and i just love the water part.It follows the Triwizard Tournaments and is super..Harry must complete them to live.fire-breathing dragon, rescue friends from the icy depths of the Black Lake, and navigate the twisting mysteries of a vast, dangerous maze.And yes a duel with Lord Voldemort himself!He is back and bigger then ever"insert evil laugh here".

I give this movie a 10 out of 10 and everyone should see it...
now i cant wait for the next one.

Was some crochet books i had won on ebay...my daughter is pregnant with my frist little grandaughter and i just had to buy some books to crochet some little girlie thinks ;)..im telling you i just can not wait for my little gracie lynn to get here..3 months to go.

Stole Swap
I recieved my shawl from my Swap partner a couple of days ago so i thought i would show it off,it is so soft and pretty,a prefect fit.She sent me some goodies along with it,4 balls of pretty blue yarn and a new set of hooks,thanks you so much Laura. I had so much fun doing this swap that i have joined another one,,Kitchen and Bath swap..cant wait to start that one.I got my shawl set off the other day to and cant wait for my partner to recieve it.
